We have had this toy for a couple weeks and we are now allowing our mixed breed pit to play with this toy unsupervised. She has not bitten any part off yet nor are there any holes. She is a very powerful and aggressive chewer. She prefers her balls and antlers over this unless we put a food treat inside. We mostly entice her into her crate with this toy and peanut butter inside. She is very contented to play for several minutes while in her crate and then engage with it while in the crate. It really doesn't make her want to play/engage because (personally) I don't think it is a toy but rather a training and soothing mechanism and for that purpose it deserves the highest marks but, as a toy not so much.

We have a pit bull who has destroyed other toys, but not these! Theyโre better made than they used to be. Theyโve stood up to his tough jaws.

Previous Kongs disintegrated rapidly under the strong teeth and jaws of our American bulldog. This Kong has withstood the chew test, and is still in good shape several months later. Either theyโre making them better, or our dog is getting too old to masticate as he once used to.

Previous Kongs have disintegrated within a few months of our pit bull mix getting a hold of them. This one has stood up to his chewing.

These were smaller than the ones I bought last time. I wish there was a better way to know the difference between the sizes.

This is by far the best toy you will ever buy. It will last you years. Trust me!

I have a black Lab and a Rottie Mix. My son has two Lab mixes and my daughter has one Lab mix. Between all these chewing dogs, my Kong has already lasted several years!!!! I think Kong makes the best, longest lasting toys. They may be pricey, but they are well worth it!
