Rated 5 out of 5 by No adverse effects. Works well for my dog; easy to administer. Best price anywhere. 05/09/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good alternative med My long-haired dachshund has atypical Cushings. We did not want to give him the usual drugs since he has no visible symptoms of Cushings and the meds are so awful. So our vet researched and found that ketaconozole and melatonin plus Harmony Gold and Denamarin would be a good alternative. HERSHEY is doing great.... 02/12/2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great experience The price for this at PetCareRx was much cheaper than at the vet and it was an easy transaction. 09/24/2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for skin yeast infections My chow / newfoundland developed food allergies 2 years ago. I switched foods until I found one that worked for her but she still occasionally sneaks food she is not supposed to be consuming and last year she had a really bad skin outbreak. She developed scaly, oily skin that smelt terrible even right after her baths and she was chewing nonstop and losing hair and developing bloody sores. The vet told me it was only pyoderma but after research on my own I believed it to be yeast. Finally she was put on ketoconazole (as well as antibiotics and steroids) and she finally cleared up. She cleared up on antibiotics and steroids temporarily but the addition of ketoconazole made it disappear altogether.I use ketoconazole whenever I first notice anything yeast like and it seems to help a lot. I only wish it would work faster. 05/27/2011
