My kitten is extremely picky and this is the only canned food she will eat. I mix it with her dry food as well. I wish they made this in a bigger can size because it's getting to be to expensive for me and I'll have to switch to a different brand.

When we got our Bengal kitten at 6 weeks of age, she came with a couple cans of some 'designer' specialty cat food. I don't remember the brand, but it was something I've never found at any store anywhere. But, she absolutely refused to eat it. Now, Bengals are kinda known to be picky. She tried several times, but would gag and puke it back out. So, she ate nothing for about 3 days. My previous street-found cat ate Science Diet cat food and she was with us for 16 years, so, in desperation, I bought a couple cans of this. Absolutely UNBELIEVABLE how she at it all like she was starving (she was) and was looking for more. Now, over 7 years later, she still gets this food at mealtimes and gets the Adult 7+ freely the rest of the time. She's got beautiful fur, clear eyes, not a bit of fat on her, muscular, and still very active and playful. I suspect she's gonna be around for a long time, thanks to the superior nutrition of this food.

Both of my kittens have been on this diet since they were weaned. They love the food, both dry and canned versions. I wouldn't feed my pets any other brand. Only downside is once they're spayed/neutered they can get pretty chunky on this food. Would recommend switching to an adult diet around 9-11 months instead of waiting until 12 months of age due to the weight gain (my cats had their surgeries at 4.5 months old). Otherwise a wonderful diet. Highly recommend for kittens or pregnant/nursing cats

I'd heard a lot about Hill's from vets and other pet owners, so I browsed their section at my local store and decided to pick up a few cans. I'm so glad I did! My kittens LOVE this. One of them is a bit of a picky eater, so I really care about finding a food she loves so I know she's getting enough nutrition to grow healthy and strong. As soon as she smells this food open, she comes running and will lick her bowl absolutely clean. I recently adopted 2 kittens from the shelter. When my girl got to come home, she started having very loose, bloody stool. The shelter treated her for a possible parasite but when we brought her back home, the same thing happened. Next we took her to the vet who put her on some more medicine and requested a stool sample. We used to feed my dog Science Diet before she passed. It was the only dog food she'd eat, so we decided to try it out with my kittens. Just like that, the blood was gone. My kittens loved the Science Diet Kitten Healthy Development when the kibbles were of much bigger size. After the packaging changed, I noticed the kibbles were much smaller and then after that, most of my kittens refused to eat them. I think It's because they liked the crunch of the bigger sized kibbles of the old packaging. Hope you can bring back the kibbles to the original size which were much bigger then the current smaller ones thank you

Bought this Health Cuisine for my two cats and they love them! The older one does not puke it up like the other brand. They used to eat to only eat cat food with lots of gravy (they only ate the gravy, never the meat) and the older cat used to puke all the time. Now, they eat both the veggies and the chicken, salmon, tuna of the Healthy Cuinine and never puke unless serious hairball - great! Wish Science Diet would expand this line and add more flavors to the Adult 7+ line. We are currently using: Healthy Cuisine Roasted Chicken & Rice Medley Adult 7+, Poached Salmon & Spinach Medley Adult 1-6 and Seared Tuna & Carrot Medley Adult 1-6.

The shelter I adopted my kitten from feeds this to their kittens, so I received a free bag and continued buying it. He dry eats freely but he seems pretty happy with it. He did get a little nose cold and had trouble smelling it, but the science diet wet food was a great addition for a few days. I went to tractor supply looking for another brand of food (4 health) and the employee pointed out "Why would you switch brands when your parents have bought the same brand for 30+ years?" His point was valid so now my fur babies are loving Science Diet too! I was worried about switching them immediately and not phasing them from the old to the new but we were totally out and have had zero issues in five days. Our babies are three months old and SD is what our vet recommended "you get what you pay for."

I adopted 2 kittens and kept them on the same dry food the shelter was feeding them. I previous pets were dogs and I had them on Science products so I was pleased to see the shelter had the kittens on the dry food, I added the Science wet food since they were using grocery store wet food. My kittens are healthy and happy so unless something changes, Luke and Lily will stay on Science Diet foods.

My husband and I just adopted two 4 month old kittens about a month ago. We bought the Hill's Science diet food they had been eating at the Humane Society without much thought. When it came time to buy them food again, I thought I better do some research as to what cats need in their diet. We try to eat healthy ourselves and believe our kittens deserve the same. I found out that a lot of the big name brands have animal by-product and carrageenan in them, which are not good for kittens. Thankfully Hill's doesn't have either! My kittens absolutely LOVE the savory salmon wet food! The gobble it down and I feel great knowing it's healthy for them.

When I first adopted my kittens I was feeding them a natural / holistic food, but I noticed they were having a bit of trouble digesting it. I discussed my concern with my vet and she immediately suggested I start feeding Science Diet. After transitioning them over I noticed an immediate change! No more messy trips to the litter box. I rescued 7 baby kittens around 2 weeks old from inside a dumpster in a shopping plaza. After 2 weeks on replacement milk I started them on science diet can kitten mixed with their replacement milk. Even though we bathed them and had a clean area for them, they just seemed so dull and their fur felt nasty and ruff like straw grass. But after weeks on the canned kitten food we moved to the dry kitten food and they went wild over it, growling and eating it up. Its been 3 months now and all 7 look wonderful and beautiful. Their fur is like cotton and so shinny and silky. They are beautiful kittens thanks to science diet kitten food. They went from scrappy homeless to beautiful spoiled happy fur kids. Am fostering a mom and her 5 kittens since they were 3 weeks old. Both mom and kittens LOVE both wet and dry food. I need to get protein and weight onto the mom, so she eats kitten food, too. Two of the kittens fell asleep in the food bowl, while eating. I use SD for all my cats and my foster cats - HairBall Light - because 3 of the 6 have long hair and would constantly leave me 'surprises' in the middle of the night - since using both wet and dry - no ore hairball surprises - thanks, Hill's!

My little tuxedo Karma has been eating Science Diet Kitten Healthy Development Original, since I rescued him from under my front porch when he was about 6 weeks old. He is now 9-1/2 months old, happy and healthy with a beautiful shiny coat and lean muscle mass, and TONS of energy. The black in his coat actually glistens! I started Emma on a diet of SD canned food until I weaned her (and she had teeth) onto SD Kitten. This little girl has thrived - even though she is still a little runt at 9 months' old, she is healthy, smart, playful. I credit the good nutrition in the Science Diet Kitten food in helping her recover. I swear the extra nutrition in the SD Kitten has helped her become very smart and her muscle structure/bones are perfect. Thanks for this product. Each kitten I've had to help develop into a healthy adult cat has been started on this food and I have 8 very healthy kitties. Thank you.

My kitten loves her kitten food. A slightly easier size/shape to bite is the only improvement I recommend.

I recently rescued a 4-week old abandoned kitten, and he was so sick he had no appetite except for kitten formula. My vet recommended Science Diet wet kitten food, and lo and behold, my little kitty LOVES it! Especially the Liver & Chicken flavor. He's now a fully recovered 8-week old and full of spunk. He still gets excited when I serve him this food, and he eats every last bit. I'm so glad he's getting the nutrition he needs to grow from Science Diet.

I got a new kitten at the beginning of the year and my boyfriend had been feeding his dog Science Diet food since he had gotten him 8 years ago. His dog still acts like a puppy, has never had any health issues, and has a beautiful coat so I decided to feed my kitten the same brand. She loves the taste, has grown SO very quickly, hardly sheds at all, has gorgeous soft fur, and is the most playful and energetic cat I've ever had. (I've had at least a ten cats throughout my lifetime) This may all be a coincidence, but I think a pet's food has everything to do with their overall health and happiness. I would recommend this brand of pet food to any dog or cat owner.

I have fed my kitten nothing but Hills Science Diet Health Devlopment Original ever since we adopted him. I'm so amazed at how soft and shiny his coat has become. He loves the taste and always comes running in when I shake the bag. I will definately be using Hills Science Diet for all my future animals!

We started fostering kittens and cats through a local rescue agency in October of 2011. They provided us with Hills Science Diet Kitten Healthy Development Original, and our kittens love it. Their coats are beautiful, soft and healthy. And it must taste great, they prefer it over canned food! Since we began fostering, we've adopted 2 kittens from 2 different litters in the past 7 months! We love fostering, and are confident our animals are receiving the healthiest food available.

Simon came to me at 6 months and I fed him Healthy Development until he was 1 year old. I have an older cat, also, and fed dry food for him in a separate bowl. Simon preferred his kitten food, so he obviously loved the taste. He's now 15 months old and is a BIG, healthy boy. He grew a lot (from 6 lbs to over 12 lbs# and is solid muscle! #He's the black & white cat in the picture.) I highly recommend Healthy Development for kittens!
