Farnam Biospot for Dogs is an over-the-counter pesticide used to control fleas, ticks and mosquitoes in your pet for up to four weeks, helping to prevent both Lyme disease and heartworm. By utilizing Insect Growth Regulator to kill both the adult and larvae parasites, Biospot helps prevent continuing infestation as well. Biospot is for use no more than once monthly, in dogs only, and then only those above twelve weeks old. To apply, open a single applicator tube and divide the contents between the skin at the base of the dog’s head and at the base of its tail.

Side effects such as skin irritation or sensitivity, or the discoloration or loss of hair at the application site, may occur in dogs with sensitivities to the ingredients in Biospot. If this continues, bathe the dog in mild shampoo and consult a veterinarian.
