Poss. allergy to medication?
Have been using Front Line Plus for yrs. with good results but now dog has developed dermatitis problem. Still not seeing fleas but he scratches head and belly itches all the time! What gives? Steroids helped but causes the dog to be too aggressive so stopped these.

Just say No to Frontline
Frontline does not work. It worked for about 3 months and then I would find fleas. I spoke to a professional and she recommended REVOLUTION which includes heartguard. I am going to give it a shot.

Does not work on Ticks
I have a 6 month old lab. I have been using frontline on her every month never missing a month. She never has a flea on her but when it comes to ticks I am pulling them of every week. It is so sad to see her go through this. I have had her vacinated for lime disease. But vet said that there is only a 70% chance it would work. I'll take those odds. This product is horrible for ticks. Just horrible I am now switching to advantix. And keeping my fingers crossed. Please if you live in a wooded area get your dog vaccinated because frontline does not work for ticks. They don't die at all. Lots of people are talking about Advantix so i'm giving it a try.

Good product
I have 3 dogs ,never found a flea.I'm been using on them FrontLine Plus for years .I find ticks on my Szchnoodle but they are dead.Hope she don't get Lime desease.She get the shots every year but is not garantie she is not going to get lime desease.

My dogs became resistant to Frontline after using this for years, I switched to a pill I give to them monthly Comfortis, it is expensive but this is a miracle, you also have to give with a meal. You also need a prescription for it.

I use to swear by this product! then like some of you, it seems to not be as potent as when I first started using it. It's like the fleas become immune to it! I never liked advantage, so now I'm looking for something else!!!! Any ideas out there?

I used k9advantics it didnt work vet recommended frontline plus it worked the first dose then after that the 2nd and 3rd dose it only worked for maybe a week

Out with the old . . .
I was a faithful user of Frontline Plus for better than ten years. Last year and the year before I thought I noticed a drop off in effectiveness. This year there's no question about it. Frontline isn't working--within two weeks my animals were itching and covered with an increasing number of fleas. So I've jumped ship and purchased Advantage.

My Newfoundland, chocolate Lab, and I returned covered in ticks from a springtime walk through a field. Within 24 hours dead ticks fell all over the white carpeting as Frontline Plus did its job for the dogs; a simple vacuuming took care of the evidence. We never found another tick. Getting the ticks off me and my clothes was not quite so easy, however. No more walks in that field.

Works for only a few days then there back
Been using this product for a few years now, and it seems to not be working as good as it used to. It will kill the fleas for a couple of days then they start to comeback. I am going to try another brand of treatment.

Only 80% effective...
Though my dog is only 15 lbs in weight, it is extremely difficult to put this product on him in the correct spot. He seems to think it's a form of medicine and tries to run or is continually moving to avoid it. I wish there was a better route of administration for the product.

Pointless
We live close to woods and the fleas are extremely bad. My chihuahua has a light coat and we could see the fleas on him even a day after applying Frontline. And the eggs just seemed to multiply, not get better. Switched to Comfortis about a year ago, and haven't seen a flea since.

My Golden Retriever is GOLDEN!
My golden retriever Buster had a bad odor to his skin. After many different treatments and shampoo's come to find out he was allergic to fleas. I used frontline plus and within a couple of weeks his skin cleared up and the odor went away. I tried revolution the following year because the vet talked me into it no more than a week of using it buster was itchy again and the skin odor was coming back. I took it back and went back using frontline plus I will never change again! Buster has passed away now but a least he was a happy and flea free dog for the remaining years he was with us! I now have a Toy Yorkie and no hesitation I use frontline plus even though my vet don't carrie the product and tried to convince me to use Advantage I said heck no! Pet Rx just contacts my vet for approval!

Still Have Ticks!
Package says kills ticks within 48 hours. Over a week later I am finding new ticks on my dogs alive and well. I am using this on 3 indoor dogs and still have ticks. I dont think its working.

Still Use but not 100%
I know this is not supposed to be 100% effective and it does work really well, however, my dog still managed to get lime disease even while using Frontline Plus. So unfortunately, I spend tons of money each year trying to protect my dogs and still he got sick. Wish Frontline Plus would come out with one that is 100% effective...

one more try
I got this for my maltese and now for my dalmation. The first sign of fleas ever was on the maltese, I applied the 1st dose, most fleas were gone, but after 2 weeks I stalled to apply the 2nd dose, the third month isn't due yet but I can't wait b/c there seems to be some fleas on the dog. The only fleas that I've seen have been on the dog. I will try this on the big dog now, the dogs indoor areas are seperate. (They don't get along indoors??!)

one week
front line plus is a minus on my dog. It works for about a week than my dog is loaded with fleas again. I have a shih tzu and i keep his hair cropped pretty short. When i run the flea comb through his hair after a week or ten days there is three or four fleas for one or two strokes than i get one or two for about a couple more strokes. He is both a inside and outside dog ith a fencen in yard. He hates baths but that is the only real good salution for getting rid of the little blood suckers.

Didn't work
I tried this as it was what the vet reccommended they didn't even know where to get advantix. It worked for about 3 days, fleas were dying I was happy. Then just like that, fleas back and I am again bathing everyother day to kill fleas and using carpet and house sprays until my advantix gets here

Stopped working & the FLEAS came!
After many years of using Fronline consistently with no problems with our dogs, suddenly this year Frontline Plus did NOT work any more. I have heard from others that the same has happened with them. Time to switch. Be warned; prepare for fleas if you do not switch.

BEST PRODUCT EVER
I started out using Advantage on my indoor Siberian Husky and after a short few months my vet changed to Frontline Plus. This product works perfectly on my Princess. I live on a cross street where all kinds of dogs roam the neighborhood and they are always coming up to my fence and scrubbing on it. My vet says this is a perfect way for my dog to get fleas. Princess is now (9) years old and and I have found only (1) flea on her since I started using Frontline Plus. This product works so well I wouldn't think of changing to anything else.

Frontline Sucks

Really kills the flea problem
I am amazed at how well this product really works. I had a serious flea problem for 6months. I tried everything!! Other flea removal sprays, oils, house bombs, yard spraying, etc. The problem finally cleared up with Frontline Plus. Now I tell all my friends. Use it it works!! The fleas are gone but you have to be consistent.

Frontline - Great Defence
opening up the pkg is tough but would rather have this than too easy to get into. like the easy snap off opening provided and pour onto skin and call it a day! our dogs have had no ticks this year. our Sheltie mix is extremely sensative to ticks, last year she had at least 4 bad ones, a few close to her eye. This Season, using Frontline, nothing.

Didn't last!
I bought Frontline Plus and used it on my dogs a week ago. There were no more fleas on my dogs within a day, but now the fleas are back. I sprayed the house with flea spray and vacuumed like I have in the past to get rid of fleas, after I applied the Frontline Plus, but the fleas are back with a vengeance! I'm very digusted that this product did not work! I will buy Advantage again now.

Our dog was covered in fleas and we'd never had this problem before. So we bought Frontline for him. He's been on the product for 3 months now and he NEVER scratches and it's GREAT. There are no fleas in our house and we don't have to worry about him getting them from outside or other dogs.

We have a Pom and a Pug. Our Pom has never known fleas, but when we got our Pug, he was flea infested. We quickly ordered the frontline and for years there has been no fleas. Recently a new neighbor arrived with 3 large outdoor dogs plus puppies( also outdoors). The fleas became a problem in our yard also. Whats really funny is our Pug who was once flea infested starts crying if he picks up any fleas! So I order the frontline and it gets here fast then the crying stops. It really works. Thank You.

Frontline Plus for Tiny Dogs
This product works great, but the dosage isn't really set up for a dog under 10 lbs. I have an 8 lb/Chihauhau mix. A full dose makes her sick, so I bathe her and give her a 1/2 dose every two weeks. That works fine and she tolerates it well.

Never Again!!
I was originally using Advantage for fleas, but I wanted something for fleas & ticks, so I started using the more expensive Frontline Plus. Instantly, there was a big difference, my little inside pet started having tons of fleas!! I gave benefit of doubt, thinking maybe the Frontline just needed time to "set in" and start working, so I continued usage for 6 months, but it Never worked!! I've since gone back to the wonderful Advantage, and it's always worked excellent!! From experience, I would never recommend Frontline to anyone...It was a pure waste of money and left my pet suffering.

Frontline is better
I thought I would try to save a little bit of money when I ordered flea protection for my dog Rocky. I had been ordering Front Line and thought I would give Advantage a try since it was a little cheaper. Boy did I make a mistake. Front Line is far better than Advantage. After wearing Advantage for a week, Rocky is still scratching. I will never change from Front Line again. Great Product
I used this on my toy poodle for months now and wondered if it really does work. Two days after his last application, I found a tick on his ear. My guess is that the product started working and the tick started walking! I will never stop using it now that I know just how well it actually works!

I have a 3-year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel - Sammy. I tried Frontline when I first got him and was very pleased with it.. Wonderful product
We live in Southern New Jersey and we literally cannot walk in our back yard (that butts up to woods) without getting ticks on us! Frontline is a wonderful product and has kept both of my dogs flea and tick free. Some ticks may attach to your dog but because of the Frontline they are instantly dead. I would highly reccomend this product as well as reccomend keeping your dog on it year round!

The only flea and tick medicine I use
I started using Frontline plus when my dog Princess was old enough to use, I enjoy it and it doesn't irritate her skin, I like knowing that I don't have to worry about fleas or ticks,we now have 2 dogs and we use it on both of them. I would recommend this product to anyone that is looking for something reliable and that works well to prevent infestation on your pet and therein your home.

I have always used this for my dog. It seems to work, although you will find occastional fleas that have gotten on the animal and have not bitten yet, so they have not been poisoned.

I have seven dogs and this product seems to control their problems with fleas and ticks, which is good, since we live in Alabama, and fleas can be especially bad here in the summer and fall. Maybe a generic form will be available soon?

If you have any stray or neighbor's cats/dogs roaming around your neighborhood, you most definitely have fleas and ticks not far from your house. Let your pet out at all and take your chances. Very good product
I needed to buy some flea and tick meds. I was in Walmart so I bought a cheaper brand instead of Frontline Plus. My dog had a bad reaction from it. Poor baby, she moaned and scratched and was jumpy every 10 seconds. I right away gave her a bath to rid her of it but she had absorbed enough of it to make her ill. I will never buy anything but Frontline Plus again.

A money saver!!!
WE all love our pets, but if we can get a bargain in the process of providing that love, we go for it. Online ordering was quick and easy. Delivery was equally as fast, and item was packaged well. Frontline Plus vs Advantage
I have used Frontline Plus for a long period of time and then switched over to Advantage on a short term basis to test its' reliability in comparison to the Frontline Plus and I have now gone back to using the Frontline Plus because of getting better results with controlling fleas and ticks. I will not be switching to any other products again. All flea control products are somewhat pricey but purchasing online from Pet Care Rx is not as coslty as it is when I purchase from my vets office so I'll continue ordering it from Pet Care Rx . Hard to believe some of the previous reviews I've read here say their vets office sell it cheaper than Pet Care Rx.

I was hesitant to try buying my pets medications online but, after being WAY overcharged repeatedly, I decided to give it a try. I've ordered twice from PetCareRX; Heartworm medication and, Frontline. I had a bit of a glitch the first time with the prescription but, it was MY fault, not theirs. I had left my 2yr old flat coated retriever at a friend's place for a week and to my horror of horrors found large ticks all over him when I got him back. I immediately gave him a frontline and in 2 days he was as good as new!I had never used any tick/flea medication before as he never had any. Now I never miss a dose. The best pest control EVER!!!!!
Frontline was a life saver for my dog and cats. We were overwelmed with fleas that my pets brought into the house from the neighborhood cats (10 or 11) roaming into our back yard. We bought Frontline and after a couple of days you could notice the difference. We did have to buy the Adams Dip and dip all three pets. But we apply Frontline every month and have been steady buyers. The fleas are gone from our home and pets.... Thanks to Frontline!!!!

We had gone to the beach for a week with our dog and when we got back a little while later she was scratching and itchin and rollin around and making funny noises. First I tried over the counter medication and shampoo which probably helped a little bit but it was Frontline that did the trick! Great product for our older dog!
We have been using Frontline Plus for years. We have a 17 year old Border Collie who is basically an in and outdoor dog. Before I used Frontline, he would just get eaten up by fleas. Frontline has totally taken all fleas away and he can live comfortably.

Great price but the product didn't work
Was recommended by the pet groomer that Fronline Plus worked extremely well on Poodles because of their hair over other brands and lasted longer than Advantage I'd been using on my Apricot Poodle.
The dog had a bath, dried and trimmed prior to application of Frontline Plus 6/4 and 80% of the small fleas were dead leaving the larger ones unfazed so on 6/13 he was given a thorough bath, dried and applied another dose this time fleas were gone for 1 day then those darn amazon fleas were back.
The fleas aren't in the carpet as they're not jumping on me or anyone else.
Tried many alternative methods but they all had the same results as the Frontline + just the dog had a great smell that lasted until another bathing.
Just ordered Advantage today as prior experience that within 2 days it killed all the fleas though it had sporadic lasting times but at least it did the job.

Front Line and PetRX are Great!
Our vet recommended Frontline for a previous dog and we've used it for years, now on a Golden Retriever. It's extremely easy to apply and seems to work great. We've never experienced a flea or tick problem on our pets. (Wish I could apply it on my 7 year old son...). We shopped around and found that PetRx definitely has great prices. It Works!!
Frontline Plus works fantastically. There are no fleas and ticks are few and far between. Becky hunts for birds and is in tall grass and brush all season. This product has been great. If you use it in conjunction with a brushing of Avon Skin-so-Soft the ticks come right to the surface and you can pick the ones off that don't jump off on their own.

No complaints
I used this product on my old dog and now I use it on my current dog, and I've never, ever had a flea problem with either of them. My 8 year old german shepherd spends about an hour a day out in the back yard and I've never seen a flea or tick on her. I wouldn't use any other product on her.

Frontline Plus
My spaniel spends her time with my husband and I at our camp. The flea and tick problem is very bad this year. I haven't had a problem though since I started using Frontline Plus. I was buying it at a different location and paying more money. Recommend the product and your service highly. Can't believe how quickly it was delivered; thought it would take a week or more, but it was here in a couple of days. Thanks!!

Better than K9
We have always used Frontline for our 2 cats and 5 dogs. This year I decided to try K9 due to the fact it stated it killed misquitos too. We live in the country and have alot of misquitos besides the ticks. Our dogs were covered with ticks with K9. I went back to Frontline this last time and I noticed last night they had no ticks on them. I will never change again.

I love frontline plus! My dog swims every day and it is still effective even when hiking through our highly tick infested woods. I usually have more ticks on me than he does! Every once in a while a tick will hitch a ride on him but they never embed in his skin and are easily brushed off. It has never caused any burning to his skin and the fact that it goes on in between his shoulder blades means he can't lick it off and get sick. I love this stuff!

I have had no problems with this company yet. Hope the ones who have get the problems solved. It is hard to find good customer service these days. I really liked the fast shipment and I have always liked Frontline. It is the only thing I buy for my 3 dogs and 2 cats. I recommend to everyone. I put it on a stray cat that is exposed to ticks and fleas 24\7. The cat was flea and tick free by the next day and still is. Great!!

No Flea's or tic's on my dog
