We rescued an obese Burmese female (spayed) ...
...who has asthma, acne, ileus and periodic erruptions of Ringworm (around her eye and the paw she washes her face with)
Her ileus has improved from near death to a VERY hearty appetite and she is elimating sufficiently.
We give her 5 mg of cisapride every two days. She has gone from dangerously overweight 21 lbs. down to 18 lbs, since we started weighing and restricting her caloric intake very carefully.
Although she is strictly an indoor cat, she has popped up with fleas and she's miserable. Given her multiple health risks, and that the cisapride may affect the efficacy of something like program, what would be safest and most effective flea treatment? (a monthly treatment, not a pyrethrin based spray)
Advantage or frontline are both excellent. vetcare

... with scabs on skin and biting paws every since last summer when she was stung by a bee. Has been tested for fungus, bacterial and Ringworm and it was negative. I can clear up with predisone and benedryl daily but as soon as cleared up it comes right back again. Shes a very hyper dog, almost obsessive compulsive but is extremely allergic to bee stings, any ideas?
This could be allergies. I do not think it has anything to do with the bee sting. I recommend that you ask your vet for a referral to a dermatologist. vetcare

what can i use to cure ringworms on my cat? ...
... what he has is called microsporum canis. i really don't have money to take him to a vet.
There are many different products ranging from shampoo to oral medication. Oral medications probably being the most expensive. Miconazole is sold over the counter at most drug stores and if the ringworm is localized this may help. Most other medication is sold with a prescription only. vetcare

My wonderful little dog, Part Shiui Tuz and ...
...Dashound mix. His stomach skin turned black this spring, then patches of scaly skin formed. I know that they where not Ringworm. The sores did not secrete any fluid and had no signs a pattern of a Ringworm.
He licked the small ones that formed on his legs and back also. I would give him a bath every week with a skin formula for dogs, then put hydrocortizone creme for dogs on them. He would lick off the medicine. Found another creme from over the counter that you put on for sores. They got a little better, but, never went away. Since he is now 12 years of age, I am afraid to put anything else on them. I don't want to make him sick with something that would poison him. He is very active and eats a Nutro dry and Little Ceazer's wet, every day. We walk 1 to 1 and 1/2 miles everyday.
I live on a very fixed income and can't afford to go to the vet to see what it it is. So I treated his the best way I know how.

...ave 2 kittens, one has bold spot on ear and second doesn't have any signs of Ringworm, should I do anything for him too? Thank you in advance.
Your vet can check the other kitten with a woods lamp. This can help determine if he has ringworm. It would not be a bad idea to bath him with an anti-fungal shampoo to be on the safe side. Your vet can prescribe it for you. Ringworm is very contagious. vetcare
