My little Maltese named Bizkit likes to bite his nails on his front right paw, and on his left back paw. Not only is it annoying to listen to; but he bites them so low that he makes them bleed all the time. Why does Biz bite his nails so low, and how do I get him to stop his bad habit??

This could be a behavioral problem or possibly an allergy. It is also possible that your pet has an infection between the toes or in the toe "beds". Have you had this checked by your pet? Once a diagnois is made hopefully your pet can be treated. You might want to try bitter apple until you get to the vet. Good luck, vetcare
