I've been giving my 2 month old rottweiler puppy nutro max lg breed puppy for 2wks now and her stools been very loose and watery have not improved at all, I'm surprised this is happening my past dogs always fed nutro and never had this problem before. Thinking of switching to natural choice chicken & oatmeal to see if that will help her any suggestions?

We have 2 pit bulls and both of them love this food. Both of their coats are shiny and soft because of it. One of our dogs was a rescue, and he was severely underweight and malnutritioned. He is now at a normal size. They both eat their food extremely quickly because they love it!

I have 2 Siberian Huskies and as we all know they can have super sensitive systems. I tried so many different foods and was to the point I thought I would just have to buy each their own food. I tried Max as a last ditch effort to get them on the same page and it worked! My fur babies couldn't be happier on Max and I am happy I don't have to try and feed separately. Keep up the good work Nutro your doing something right!

Rated 5 out of 5 by GSDforlife Best food ever!!!
I have a German Shepherd puppy and this is by far the best priced puppy food for the amazing quality. With my puppy I went through 4 different brand of food before finding this brand. My little girl had bad dry, itchy skin from when I got her. I didn't know what to do. I gave her baths to sooth her skin but nothing helped. It wasn't until I changed food four time to this brand that her skin cleared up and she now has a beautiful shiny, silky coat and her skin is no longer dry. I only recommend this brand dog food for people with German shepherd dogs or any breed of dog to use this food. Both dog and owner will be happy and healthy. This shall be the only brand I ever use for my dog.

Rated 5 out of 5 by OnyxGSD Wonderful!
I feel sorry for my current 7 month old German shepherd. He used to be given Purina puppy chow, healthy morsels. I thought it was a good brand, although that was until I read the ingredients in it. Nasty stuff, purina has! My neighbors recommended Nutro Max Large Breed Puppy food. I took there word and tried it, and I was astonished! You can tell how much healthier and beneficial Nutro is compared to purina puppy chow by the smell and feel between the two. The purina smells like humid, artificial and processed meat, and feels oily/greasy to the touch. Nutro's food barely has a scent, but you can tell it has real chicken, unlike purina who uses slaughterhouse waste(looked it up!). Nutro's food feels dry like dry dog food is support to! And it doesn't have processed shapes or food dye. Nutro is the best food for its price! The only thing is my dog is overweight, not too much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by myzoo Love this food
I've been feeding my dogs Nutro Max since 1999. We adopted a puppy in December and I couldn't wait to start switching him over to Max Large Breed Puppy. He loves it! Far less waste and a much more soft and shiny coat.

I love this food for my Dane/Mastiff mix! I only wish they would still sell it in the bigger bags, and kept lamb at least as an option like they used to.
