  • Policies

    What good are low prices, a wide selection, and knowledgeable service without quick shipping? Orders of in-stock, non-prescription items placed before 2pm EST will usually ship the same day. Please allow 24-48 hours for prescription order processing. You should expect any order shipped via Standard shipping to arrive at your door within 3-7 business days. Standard orders are shipped via UPS or USPS. All Next Day and Second Day orders are shipped via UPS. Standard shipping is $5.99, Second Day shipping is $17.99, and Next Day shipping is $23.99. Orders with pet food or items over 35lbs total will be shipped Ground shipping at rates based on the accumulated weight. Please note that prescription items with Second/Next Day shipping will not ship until the prescription is approved.

    PetCareRx only ships within the U.S. and its territories. Orders shipped to Hawaii, Alaska, and New Mexico can take up to 10 business days to arrive.

    Free shipping offers are applied after discounts and PetCareRx Points usage, to orders being shipped within the contiguous U.S. only, and do not apply to orders over 35 lbs. and pet food items.

    • We invite our customers to place orders on our website or you may contact our Customer Service Center for assistance.
    • Once an order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation number. If you need to add items or make any changes to your order, you must contact our Customer Service Center as quickly as possible to ensure we can make the necessary changes before your order is shipped.

    Shipping

    • PetCareRx ships pet food to the 48 continental states only.
    • Any orders placed with PetCareRx for pet food, will be shipped within the next business day.
    • Pet food will ship Monday through Friday.
    • If an order is placed on Friday, it will not be shipped until the following business day (Monday) as we do not ship on Saturday and Sunday.
    • Shipping charges on pet food or orders over 35 lbs are based on accumulated weights.
    • Orders placed for pet food weighing over 35 lbs will only be shipped via UPS Ground, which would be expected to be delivered within 5 to 7 business days once shipped.
    • You must have a street address for delivery. Pet food cannot be shipped to an APO/APE or PO Box, since UPS is used for delivery.
    • If you order pet food along with other items, please be aware that you will receive your pet food order in a separate shipment. You will not incur additional shipping charges.
    • Vaccines are shipped Next-Day, but orders placed on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday for vaccines will not ship until Monday.

    Frozen Food

    • PetCareRx can ship Frozen & Raw products for those extra special pets that get the tastiest raw products that need to remain refrigerated or frozen before being consumed. It is a bit more complicated as we want to make sure that the pet food remains fresh, so in order to do so:

      • Frozen items will ship next day air
      • Items are packed in dry ice to ensure they remain cold and fresh
      • Regardless of when you place an order, we can only ship Frozen & Raw products Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
