Take your hermit crabs out on the town with this easy-to-carry cage that’s perfect for transport to school, a friend’s house, or on vacation. The ventilated environment allows fresh air to circulate, and the wide, curved design provides ample room to climb. These cages are available in multiple sizes, with the smallest being ideal for use as an exercise toy in 10 or 20 gallon aquariums. All sizes can be purchased with or without accessories.     Rated 5 out of 5 okay for short time, not recomending This is an okay cage for very short amounts of time if you live in a warm and humid area. Hermit crabs need high humidity and warm temperatures, neither of which this cage is capable of holding. Hermit crabs also need several inches of sand to dig in, which this does not allow. Depending on area, this can be a satisfactory travel case, but is by no means a long term environment for your crabs. January 7, 2012
