Rated 5 out of 5 by My best friend deserves the best.... Courage was born on February 9th, 2012 and he came home with us and became a member of our family in late April 2012. The breeder explicitly told us that the transition of food was to Iams and that it was the only food he had trusted for Courage's mother. So naturally we kept him on Iams and last month Courage turned one and we transitioned to adult food. He loves it ! People always remark on his coat, mental alertness, and just overall health. We owe it to his diet and the quality product from Iams. Thanks! March 2, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by 3 dogs I have 3 dogs, a mini doxy, chihuahua and a German Sheperd lab mix. The German Sheperd is the only one that will eat it (but gee...she is the mix of 2 vacuum cleaners). The doxy ate it because she had to (yes I mixed slowly...over 2 weeks because she has a tender tummy). And the Chihuahua would look at me and had the look "do I really have to eat this?" and wouldn't eat it. I had to switch to a different food for the little dogs May 4, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Premium Dog Food My Jack Russell Terriers are getting up there in age and I had to move from an acre wooded lot to an apartment. My Jack Russells were starting to become lazier, and not as healthy. In 1 week I noticed a new vitality and level of happiness with my dogs- absolutely the best food I have fed them- and since I have no human children, these dogs are my family. Despite the fact that I am on a fixed income, I would rather pay more for this dog food, and cut corners on what I would spends on myself at the store. Their loving presence is so helpful with both the depressive problems my husband and I have. To see them so childlike again is a thrill to us- my 11 year old Jack Russells act like 2 year olds again- their eyes sparkle, coats are soft, and they jump in the bed no problem. This is a miracle food for them. May 18, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by He sprung into action I switched food for my Cane Corso, he was having joint pain and stiffness. He was a rescue so needless to say he has issues with development because of the condition we found him in. I had spent lots of money on joint tabs with no success. Either I forgot to give them or he spit them out. I noticed the new display for the Iams Premium so I gave it a shot. (I had a coupon as well) by the end of the first bag I notice a little spark in my boy that I have missed. I wasn't sure what the cause but he seemed happier. Maybe he is feeling better in his new home???? I continued to feed Iams Prem. and saw great result He seemed to spring up in the A.M. and I never had to worry forgetting to feed him so I know he is getting what he needs. Not sure what they put in it that helps the joints, but it helped out my best buddy be the dog he longed to be. Thanks Iams I owe you. As a result I switched all my dogs to Iams PremiumProtection. Rated 5 out of 5 by Loves It To The End!!!! Snarls is our English Bulldog and he just turned 1 this past December. I have had him on the Iams Puppy and really wanted to make sure that he transitioned into the best Adult food possible. I kept in mind the breeds delicate digestive system and thought I would first try Iams Premium Protection. He loves this food! He has always been a great eater, but he licks the bowl after he is finished with this. He also passes gas significantly less, (this is one of the trademarks of Bulldogs). In addition to decreasing his flatulence, it is a bonus that he loves the taste. Going from Puppy to Adult and staying with Iams, I must say, he has always had a beautiful coat and has been extremely healthy. I am very happy with his transition to adult food. Keep up the great work Iams, I love Premium Protection and so does Snarls! January 21, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Product I've Found! My dog, Koko, is 6 1/2 years old and has been on Iams since I got her from a shelter. She is a VERY picky eater and only likes the mini-bites and won't anything but Iams. When I found Iams Premium Protection, I bought the smallest bag to try it because she is not a good eater. She eats it, every bite, after I put it in her dish - and she usually eats like a cat, a little bite at a time. She is an active and wonderful dog. She not only eats this product well and without hesitation, but it keeps her healthy as well. Thank you IAMS. All of my dogs have been on Iams, Koko is the first that doesn't everything immediately. Rated 5 out of 5 by best dry dog food ever Shadow, our 10 year old yellow lab, was in very poor physical condition. Stiff joints, poor appetite, rough coat, little energy, and problems relating to severe allergies. After two months on Premium Protection we saw a noticeable improvement in all conditions. He has now been on Premium Protection for a number of months and people cannot believe the difference in his overall condition. He is truly a different dog. We now have hopes for him living a few more years where before we despaired of him living a few more months. PLEASE DO NOT STOP PRODUCING PREMIUM PROTECTION. Lab Lover Phoenix,AZ November 12, 2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by sick baby Prissy was having problems with her gall-bladder. She has always been on regular Iams, but now they have put her on Iams GI tract dog food. She seems to be doing much better. August 13, 2009
