A Soft Collar for More Comfy Healing The Soft-E Fabric Elizabethan Collar is a pliable yet durable alternative to traditional rigid plastic Elizabethan collars. The collar is intended to keep your dog from accessing any part of his body with his mouth. Used typically on dogs who have a healing wound, the Soft-E Fabric Elizabethan Collar may also be used on dogs who tend to engage in nervous licking or nibbling. It’s a lower stress alternative to cones for stress prone breeds. The Soft-E Collar allows your pet to heal in greater (and slightly less embarrassing) comfort.

The collar is lightweight, non toxic, non allergenic and water resistant. It’s also more durable than traditional veterinarian issued plastic collars, and will resist biting, clawing and chewing. The collar’s tie ribbon is smooth and shiny, in order to be comfortable for your convalescing pet; though its silkiness makes a double knot necessary, which can make the collar difficult to remove. If not tied properly the collar may flip backward, giving pooch an all-access pass to the forbidden zones. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions carefully to be sure you’re fastening it properly.

The size 5 collar is recommended for dogs 22.5 - 22.6 lbs, though the collar comes in all sizes for both cats and dogs.
