Rated 5 out of 5 by another tough toy Another tough toy for my highly destructive Border Collie, she can knock the squeaker out of any toy in just minutes. These JW toys are tough and last against her directed efforts to rip them to shreds. The squeaker element is solidly mounted / bonded to the durable rubber these are molded from. One thing I don't understand is, they have been made with a vent hole that effects how well the squeaker functions, by allowing some of the air to escape when squeezed, it softens the volume / decibels of the squeaker. Why they did this I don't know, but I am going to figure a way to plug the hole safely, so my dog can make more noise when she wants. .... She also has 2 of their round rubber balls that have the feet & ears, in medium size, and she has completely removed the squeaker mounting bodies from the main structure of the ball w/feet. I am going to contact the JW company and see if they will replace them, or what they will offer. December 11, 2012
