Rated 2 out of 5 Dog Nail Clipper I purchased these clippers and while they will cut a good size dog's nails, I don't think they are good for a very large dog. I have a large 120 lb. German Shepherd and it is very hard to cut his nails with these clippers. He has very thick nails and these clippers just don't do the job - it takes too much to try to clip them and my boy does not like it at all. Maybe he has thicker nails than other dogs/breeds.
