Rated 2 out of 5 Defective and Not Stable Well, I struggle with this. First, the packaging from PetCare RX - was lousy. This perch seemed to be missing a piece - it could not be put together as it was received. My boyfriend had to take it to the hardware store to find a piece to put it together and stabilize it, and then had to remove carpeting from the perch in order to fix it. The wood is cheap, cheap, cheap. However, the cats so far LOVE it. They love the fuzzy balls hanging from it, and love the two kinds of scratching material. Is is NOT sturdy - a cat jumps on the top and it will likely fall over. So, buyer beware. If you prop it under a windowsill or something it may work great. June 27, 2012
