Active ingredient Etofenprox quickly kills biting fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes while (S)-Methoprene, an insect growth regulator, breaks the infestation cycle by stopping the development of flea eggs and flea larvae on your cat. In killing ticks, Zodiac Spot-On Plus Flea & Tick Control for Cats and Kittens protects against Lyme Disease and Rocky Mounted Spotted Fever. This treatment works for up to one month.

Side Effects and Warnings

Rated 5 out of 5 no problems yet We have been using zodiac for about 3 years now. We live in a wooded area and Katman is an inside/outside cat. We have had no issues with fleas and ticks. The first 2 days he is a little sluggish, i attribute that to the chemicals, but he snaps right out of it. I would recommend this product to those on a tight budget. I will also note that I have never treated fleas and ticks with this product. It has been only used as a preventative treatment. October 20, 2012
