Rated 5 out of 5 PRONG TRAINING COLLAR I GIVE THIS PRODUCT "5 PAWS"! IT IS AN EXCELLENT TRAINING TOOL, EVEN FOR OLDER DOGS WHO HAVE NEVER BEEN ON A LEASH. THE DOG WILL MOST LIKELY HAVE A "DOGGY TANTRUM" THE FIRST TIME YOU PUT IT ON THEM, BUT AFTER THAT, THEY KNOW WHAT IT IS WHEN THEY SEE IT. I HAVE 3 LARGE FULL BLOODED GERMAN SHEPARDS (THE MOTHER, HER SON AND HER DAUGHTER) WHO HAVE A HUGE FENCED IN YARD TO RUN PLAY AND GET ALL THE EXCERCISE THEY COULD WANT OR NEED. AND THEY SPEND A GREAT DEAL OF THIER TIME IN THE HOUSE. SO THE ONLY TIME THEY WERE EVER ON A LEASH WAS TO GO TO THE VET AND BEFORE USING THIS COLLAR, MY HUSBAND OR SON HAD TO HANDLE THE DOGS JUST TO GET THEM IN AND OUT OF THE VET. NOW THEY WALK RIGHT BY MY SIDE AND DON'T EVEN ATTEMPT TO PULL ME OR JUMP ON ME OR ANY OTHER PEOPLE ANYMORE. JUST DON'T LET THE "DOGGY TANTRUM" SCARE YOU AWAY FROM TRYING OR USING THIS PRODUCT. THE VET FIRST PUT THIS COLLAR ON MY OLDEST DOG AND MY DAUGHTER HEARD HER TANTRUM OUT IN THE CAR!! I FELT LIKE A TERRIBLE PET OWNER MAKING MY POOR BABY GO THROUGH THAT, BUT IT ONLY LASTED 30 SECONDS MAYBE... AND NOW I CAN TAKE HER FOR WALKS ANYWHERE! THIS PRODUCT IS THE "BEST" TRAINING TOOL AVAILABLE! AND IT DOESN'T HURT THE DOG, I KNOW IT LOOKS LIKE A TORTURE DEVICE BUT I JUST CAN'T STRESS ENOUGH THAT IT DOES NOT HURT THEM!!! I DO HIGHLY RECCOMEND GETTING THE ONE WITH THE EASY LATCH THOUGH. IT MAKES PUTTING IT ON AND TAKING IT OFF SOOOO MUCH EASIER.
