About Tobramycin Ophthalmic Solution 0.3%
Tobramycin Ophthalmic Solution is a common aminoglycoside antibiotic solution for dogs and cats, used to treat common eye infections - particularly conjunctivitis - as well as ease discomfort during the healing process. Antibiotic drops should be administered to your pet as soon as symptoms of an infection are present.

Tobramycin Ophthalmic Solution is available via prescription only, and your veterinarian will dictate dosage. This solution is applied around the eye area, rather than directly into the eye, which can make it easier to apply than other pet eye infection medications.

Feline and Canine conjunctivitis is an infection of the “third eyelid” - the delicate tissue lining inside the eye that covers the globe of the eye. You might see it when a pet is becoming sleepy, and the eyes begin to fade to closed. Tobramycin Ophthalmic Solution works by stopping the growth of bacteria in the eye, thereby stopping the infection.
Side Effects and Warnings
Side effects are rare with Tobramycin Ophthalmic Solution, however, if your pet appears to be disturbed by burning or stinging, or if inflammation appears to worsen, discontinue right away and contact your vet.
