About Bene-Bac Gel
Bene-Bac Gel is a beneficial pet medication that helps in restoring the normal digestive functions in pets. This live bacterial culture is great for animals with weakened intestinal capabilities as a result of a stressful situation. It comes in a convenient syringe-type applicator so that application on pets is made easy.

This pet med gel is especially useful in animals under adverse conditions such as showing, weaning, worming, surgery, traveling, boarding, breeding, antibiotic therapy or simple intestinal stress.

Adverse conditions, such as stress, upset the natural balance of micro-organisms in the digestive tract by decreasing the number of Lactobacillus. Bene-Bac gel provides viable Lactobacillus to help maintain the proper microbial balance. It contains 15 grams of live naturally occurring micro-organisms for dogs, cats and other small mammals. This medication is also recommended as part of the management program for birds when hand feeding or weaning. It can also be uses with growing and mature birds or reptiles when they are subject to changing nutritional or environmental conditions or after antibiotic therapy.

Rated 5 out of 5 A MUST have for your animal 1st aid kit!!! As a small animal owner, it is critical to treat intestinal trouble in a timely matter so as not to lead toward dehydration and further distress. This is a great 1st line of defense to give your pet without having to worry about adverse side effects. Give at the first sign of loose stools or uncharacteristic finicky appetite and you can head off a lot of problems! May 24, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 A must have!! I had searched all the local stores for this - I use it for my rabbits - and I was unable to find it anywhere but on PetCareRx. And the price was GREAT!! June 22, 2008

Rated 5 out of 5 A MUST HAVE MEDICATION My veterenarian prescribed Bene Bac for my dogs as they were on antibiotics after having their teeth cleaned and also again for various other reasons (traveling, etc). This medication has helped in all of the situations. I now order 5 at a time so I do not run out. Of course, the price at the vet's office per tube is $19.10 almost 3 times the cost as it is here at PetCareRx....love, love, love this stuff. April 13, 2008

Rated 4 out of 5 Great Stuff My female Umbrella had a prolapse chloaca. The vet tied it up to her rib cage. Since that time her stools were watery and runny and she had no control of them. She stopped having the white dust and felt scratchy. I put a small amount of this product on her peanut butter and everything is back to normal. I buy three tubes at a time so I don't run out. Also she is not biting her feathers as much as she was. August 25, 2007
