Rated 3 out of 5 Care Giver The best thing I baught for my dogs with then a hour the fleas was gone August 19, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 Trusted Flea & Tick Medication I have been purchasing this product for my large Yellow Labrador, and for my sister's two dogs for quite some time. I feel it is a good product to use against ticks and fleas getting onto your pet, without being too toxic on the skin of the animal. I would hope it is not hurting the animal. We have to trust the products that we buy to protect our beloved pets. August 18, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by USELESS!!!! Such a waste of money!!!! Does NOT work at all!!!! Paid arm and leg for useless product, never will buy again!! Do NOT even think about buying this product! I hate to just throw it out, but i wouldn't want to have my dog eaten by fleas with the product, so TRASH it goes!! August 18, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by It's not doing the job! My dog is still full of fleas, he's still being bitten, and now my cat and my house have them too. I'm pretty upset at wasting my money and putting my dog through the routine for nothing. August 17, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 What happened?? I have always loved Beyer products. I work for a chain pet store that sells these products as well as a few other brands. I have LOVED this product and have pointed COUNTLESS people towards it, and have recommended it to so many people. But now? I took a good look at my dog and saw what I thought were tiny white heads. Pimples is what I thought they were. I scraped one off to see if it was a pimple and there was no pus. I look at the white thing and it had LEGS. My dog is covered in tiny white ticks. I believe these are young ticks. I don't know what to do. It seems that Advantix's claim to repel and kill ticks only applies to adult ticks. The young ones can transmit diseases too. She has no fleas, no adult ticks, I was so pleased. Now? I am furious. I am a minimum wage worker, can barely afford this stuff, and its not working. My dog is miserable. August 16, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by It did not work for ticks I used advantix II on my dog about 10 days ago. She never got wet, no bath, no rain. Today I took her to the groomer and they found a tick on her. Fortunately it was only a brown tick. Will never buy this again. August 11, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 K9 Advantix II K9 Advantix II has been used on my 2 cockers Spaniels for 5 months, doing an excellent job of keeping the fleas, mosquitos under control. No more skin allergys on 1 dog. I highly reccomend K9 advantix II. Wish my vet had reccommended 4 years ago, when the one dog began to have skin problems. Thanks to K9, she is free of the bumps and loss of hair. August 11, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 Its ok It does work like it's supposed to but it is messy, the instructions state you have to distribute the medicine in 4-6 spots along the back so its everywhere. I would gladly pay the extra $10 for Frontline Plus which you are able to use on just one spot on your dog's back. August 9, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 Best topical flea & tick prevention product. Period. I've been using K9 Advantix II for over 4 years, and have never had a single problem with blood-sucking pests on my animals or in my home. We live right on the border of the woods, and go hiking quite frequently in the woods, and my dogs never bring anything home with them. Even with the high numbers of ticks this year because of the warm spring, we don't have a problem thanks to this product. I'll pay a little more for the quality product I get with K9 Advantix. Rated 2 out of 5 by We still have ticks Even after applying this product to my 22lb dog...I am pulling ticks off of him at least 2 times a week! I was hoping this would prevent that. He is mostly indoors, but we take him for walks in areas that obviously have ticks. I don't know what else to use. I am very disappointed that a brand that claims to prevent ticks is not working for us. I haven't seen fleas though, so I guess part of it is working. August 1, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 K9 Advantix II is GREAT!!! I have used K9 Advantix II on Onyx since he was 6 months old. He is now 3 years old and has never had a flea problem or any bad reaction to the medication. You won't be disappointed if you give this product a try. August 1, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 Awful product, doesn't work at all Terrible product. I applied a week ago, and the fleas were gone for a few days but are now back and worse than ever. Tried a second dose, and the fleas are practically swimming around in it and enjoying themselves. Do not order! I'm going back to frontline immediately! July 31, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 Worthless This is worthless. Within a week my mini dachshund was once again digging herself because of the fleas. So far the best product for us has been Frontline. July 31, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 K9 Advantix II I used frontline plus for many years and it stopped working for fleas last summer. I switched to K9 Advantix II and have had great results so far. July 24, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 Good Product I tried Frontline first, and it did exactly what it said it would do for my Black Lab. The only thing I didn't like was that it didn't repel mosquitoes, and we live in a wooded area that gets a lot of them. So I switched to K9 Advantix II, and it works great! I will be using this from now on! July 24, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 Great Great prices. I actually used a groupon voucher I had so I got a 6 month supply. This is my first puppy and first time needing this product but I liked the fact that it covered mosquitos, as most products do not. July 23, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 K9 ADVANTIX II I've searched several other websites and have found that PetcareRx has the lowest prices and fast/free delivery. I've been placing orders with PetcareRx for 6 yrs and they still have the best prices. July 23, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 Best we have used for our large dog This is the best flea and tick drop I have found for use on our large dog. Only one we have tried that I would recommend. July 20, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Didn't work I put K9 Advantix 2 on my 4 month old Golden Retriever puppy and even the next day she had ticks. I am so tired of pulling ticks off of her. It's been 2 weeks yesterday that I applied it and everyday I am pulling off every varitation of tick out there. I am so dissapointed K9 Advantix is suppossed to be the best. It's not. I paid $50 for my 4 month supply and will not be buying it again. July 17, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Didnt work for me I have been using this product faithfully on my two shelties for the last two years, Well, last night I discovered them covered with fleas..... I will not be buying this product anymore. July 16, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Doesn't work! I applied Advantix to my Husky mix dog 1 week ago. Today while she was in the house a huge engorged tick fell off of her. Gross!! It was not dead. I took her outside and pulled off 15 more slightly engorged ticks. None of which were dead. This product does not work! July 15, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Does NOT work! Waste of money!!! I have been using K9 Advantix on my dog for the past 3 months and it does not work at all. I switched to Advantix from PetArmor which was just as bad but more affordable. I thought paying so much for a product would mean something but after 3 months I am very disappointed. For instance, I put Advantix on my dog, Riley, five days ago and there are fleas all over him. I do not expect Advantix to be a miracle worker and perhaps I could maybe understand if he had fleas after a few weeks but five days later??? According to the label, Advantix is supposed to kill fleas within 12 hours of application. That is completely false. I'm tired of spending so much money on products that do not work and this is one of them that I will surely never use again!! Perhaps if your dog stays indoors his entire life and never goes into a yard then Advantix might be useful. Other than that its a waste of money! July 15, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Doesn't work Last month I bathed and brushed both my dogs(X-large 90 & 110 lbs and appllied K9 Advantix as instructed. I have pulled 2 ticks off of my yellow lab; one a week after I applied and one 2 weeks after I applied. I'm not very happy as this stuff isn't exactly cheap. July 15, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful product! I can't say enought about this product. Love it! Thank you for helping to protect my lab from nasty ticks!! July 14, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Only thing that works for my Catahoula, Blue! We have tried it all, this is the only product that continually works, every time! I will never try anything else! Peace world! July 13, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Better than frontline plus We have 2 dogs and have always used frontline plus - until this year. While it still works well on our geriatric retriever/lab mix, it was not working AT ALL on our 1 year old English Setter. She was literally covered in fleas and almost bald from scratching. Turns out she is allergic to flea bites! We switched to Advantix for her and although we still see some fleas - it's very easy to tell since her hair hasn't come back in yet (2.5 weeks after first application) they seem groggy and die soon after we see them. It does state that it can take 2 hours to kill reinfesting fleas - with her allergies, that kinda stinks, but still seems better than frontline. July 12, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 K9 Advantix 11 I have been using this product faithfully monthly and my dog was diagnosed with Lyme Disease for the second time! It does a good job controlling fleas. July 2, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Very Dissatisfied I have been usin Advantix for several months now and never seem to have the fleas under control. I bathe my dog frequently and use a flea comb. Spray and wash bedding but still find fleas a few days later. I have been using this expensive product every couple weeks and have been very dissatisfied. I have been trying switching brands every other time like other customers have mentioned, the fleas seem to enjoy the Advantix. July 2, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Doesn't work!!! I applied K9 Advantix II a little over a week ago and my dog now has a ton of fleas, more than when I put it on him (I had moved from Nashville where there aren't many fleas and didn't need preventative to HIlton Head where there are tons of fleas) seems like every time I take him outside more jump on him. I have no idea what to do now....and this product is insanely overpriced for NOT WORKING. June 30, 2012
