Rated 4 out of 5 Helps our Lab Our female yellow lab has always been very "excited"-too excited in that she was always jumping on people. With the drug she is more manageable. She has been on it for 4+ years. Only downside is sometimes her leg twitches. Overall we are happy with the results. May 12, 2008
Rated 5 out of 5 Old dog can learn new tricks! Penny is a 12-15 year old dog we adopted in 1997. She had been through 3 owners and had been abused. She was sweet and cute but very nervous all the time. We had isolated problems with her snapping at people and then last December it suddenly got so bad we thought we would have to put her down. A few days on this med and she was a brand new dog! I wish we had put her on this years ago! She rolls over to have her tummy rubbed and actually sleeps soundly. I want some for ME! May 10, 2008
Rated 5 out of 5 Success story!! Our dogs have now been on Clomipramine for several months and we were actually able to leave them home for 8 hours on Christmas Eve and they didn't destroy a thing!! This is a huge success for 2 dogs that could not even be left alone for 30 minutes prior to introducing this medication. I am so thankful for these meds and I know they're thankful for them too!! Rated 5 out of 5 This medicine really works for dogs with separation anxiety Our dogs suffer from extreme cases of separation anxiety! They absolutely destroy everything in site if we even leave them for under an hour. We got training for them and followed all the instructions but they didn't get any better. After dealing with this for more than a year, we finally talked to our vet and got them on Clomicalm. Clomicalm really works! We were so relieved and amazed the first time we were actually able to leave them at home while we went to church and returned to a house that was exactly the way left it! (we did this about 2 weeks after starting them on the meds). The only downside to Clomicalm is the price. It was costing us $90 per month for their meds. We decided to try Clomipramine and are very pleased with the results. It does take an adjustment period though. They needed to be on Clomipramine for 2 weeks before we could leave them without coming home to a destroyed home. They are doing so great on this medicine now that we have no intention of switching back to Clomicalm and would absolutely recommend this medicine to anyone who has dogs that suffer from separation anxiety. *Note- you do have to follow the suggested training along with the meds. You can look on line and find lots of good information on things you should and shouldn't do when dealing with a dog who has separation anxiety. If training in itself doesn't work then I would recommend talking to your vet about prescribing this medicine. November 12, 2007

Rated 5 out of 5 Saved our family! Clomipramine has saved our family. We almost had to give our golden away due to his activity and anxiety levels, but the medicine changed everything. We are very happy family now. March 29, 2007
Rated 5 out of 5 At last - help for Molly Molly is a rescued apricot min. poodle. She was rescued in November of 2004. After being "on the streets" for several months, skinny, limping...The Tucson Poodle Rescue group saved molly - just because she limped. She is soooo needy and codependent with me that whenever I went to the store etc. she would tremble and wait by the door even though my husband was home and so was my other poodle. I got this drug for Molly and it truely worked miracles. She is such a dear and we are working on this separation anxiety and fear of larger dogs.... Rated 5 out of 5 Help for a Herder We have a three year old Australian Shepherd that we love. And we are asking him to be a suburban household dog. The qualities for which he was breed: to protect and herd livestock, make him less suited for a suburban home. He’s always on guard. We talked with our Vet about something that could help us calm him down, in addition to the training and behavior modification we were undertaking. We didn’t realize how well this medicine was working until we didn’t reorder it in time. It’s helped us see that the medicine is helping our Aussie be less wired to herd everyone around the house, and better able to relax. In addition, we’ve given him other jobs, like lying at my feet when other family members are moving around the house. I realize that the medicine would not be effective without the training we are doing with him, and it would be more challenging to do the training without the ClomiPRAMINE. *This is a prescription item. Rated 4 out of 5 Much calmer pup We have been using this prescription for almost 2 1/2 years. Our basset hound would howl, bark and drool the entire time we left him alone after his mother died. He is 10 years old now and with the help of clomipramine he is doing much better. *This is a Prescription Drug January 11, 2005
