Raised & Adjacent Diner

small white raised bump

I have a 10 pd. chihuahua male. He has a small white bump on his side. Every once in a while it opens and bleeds. It is o.k. for a while then opens again. I showed the vet and he said to keep an eye on it. Any ideas? Thank you. Shirley Morse
