One of my cats has severe gingivitis. We went ot a vet and he was given an antibiotic which did not do much. The cat is about 2 1/2 years old and I feed it Friskies Dental Care food or Iams. What else can I do?
My vet suggested I give my 17 year old cat an antibiotic 5 days a month for the rest of her life to treat gingivitis. She is otherwise in great health. Have you heard of this and what antibiotic would you use?
My vet has determined that a chipped back tooth will have to be pulled because it will continue to abcess. It there no other way to save that tooth that is not too costly? He is scheduled for surgery on Wed Am so please give me a little insight.
when brushing my cockerspanial/beagle teeth I noticed black spots on his gum line and his breath has been quite offensive lately. Is this some type of infection or something more serious?
does a dog really need to brush its teeth? how does a dog's oral hygiene depend on toothbrushes, dental-wash, or breath-mints?
