Specific responsibilities include:
· Dispense prescriptions in accordance with policies and in conformance with regulations and laws dealing with the class of prescriptions
· Assure drugs are appropriately labeled, stored, and utilized according to instructions
- Supervise pre-packing of drugs and control procedures
- professional competency and proficiency.
- Assure that the quality of professional services is maintained.
· Answers questions and provides information to pharmacy customers on drug interactions, side effects, dosage and storage of pharmaceutical
· Maintains established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste drugs
· Assays medications to determine identity, purity, and strength
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the profession by participation in organization memberships; attendance at meetings, lectures, in-services, seminars; reading journals; comply with National Standards of Continuing Education in order to maintain
· Perform other related duties as assigned

Key Qualifications:
· Bachelor of Science degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy
· Registered and licensed in the state of NY
· Retail/Community Practice
· Working knowledge of pharmacy system
· Working knowledge of policies and procedures
· Understanding of pharmacy regulations
