Just within the past day, our 1 year old Schipperke has been very lazy and sleeping alot. We thought mabey he had eaten something and had an upset stomach. Today we noticed that he was having difficulty chewing his dog biscuits. We checked his gums and noticed that one side was slightly red and swollen. Any ideas on what the problem may be?
This could be gingivitis but a vet visit is warranted, when a dog does not want to eat. He can become dehydrated very quickly. vetcare
