My two yr. old boxer,Katie, has clear eye discharge, and this is causing her to itch her eyes, she rubs her eyes on the back of my legs or on the couch.She is uncomfortable. I've tried the stain removing solutions for the eye area but this does not seem to be helping, I've switch dog foods, and now she has been eating Nutros Lamb and Rice for about 1 month, it seems to have reduced some itching but she still wants to rub her eyes, can you help?
Clear eye discharge is usually normal. An eye with an infection usually has green or yellow discharge. Your pet may have ectopic cilia, an entropion or allergies. I recommend that you bring your pet to an vet ophthalmologist. Good luck, vetcare
