My 4 year old daughter just had her hamster die so we bought her two extremely sweet domestic rats as a replacement. When we took them home from the pet store a couple days later they began sneezing and wheezing. I understand the pine bedding they were kept in at the pet store messes up their respitory system. Aside from taking them to a vet (we can not afford the $50 visit), is there anything we can get to help them get well? She loves them both dearly. Thank you.
