Question:

My 4 year old quaker started feather plucking, Hes not bad yet, is there a vitamin he is lacking or what else can I do to stop this.

Answer:

First, you should have an avian specialist examine your bird. Your vet may want to check your birds feces for giardia and blood work is also recommended. Smoking around your bird can cause feather plucking. Aerosol toxicity from non-stick pans can cause an allergy and feather plucking. Good luck, vetcare
