My cat is almost 17 years old. but her fur looks so ragged, and oily. How wise and or safe is it to bath one this old? I hesitate to do so because of her age and and fragilness. Is brushing the best way to go?
Unless your pet is terrified of water then I do not see any problem with a bath. Before you bath her try a sponge bath. If she is good for that then try a bath. Good luck, vetcare
