Children's cat (up to date on all vaccinations) got scratched by raccoon over ear, head, neck. Washed with peroxide and put antibiotic ointment on it? What signs of infection should I watch for OR should he go to his veterinarian?

You should go to the vet because racoons carry bacteria and viruses. Good luck, vetcare
