we just got a min pin.casey is 11weeks old. sometime he will go to the back door and lets us know that he need to go out.but it seen that when we eat dinner he will sneak off into another room,and that when we find the mess. what is a good solution to prevent this. also i've always been told that their nose should be cold,casey nose has been hot since we got him.
First, there are many books on the subject that you can buy or read at the library. The method that works best for me is crate trainning. I recommend that you bring the puppy out in your yard every 2-3 hrs to go to the bathroom. The puppy should be in an isolated place in your house (either a crate or a closed in space )during the periods of time when you are not actively playing or training with the pup.
