I have a 9 year old female datson chihuahua that has just started to not be able to control her pea she has always been very good about going outdoors and this has come up very suddenly? She is spayed and has no other problems exept weight but we have been working on that for two years and it is coming down. there have been no changes in her diat or other everyday things. It is not uncommon for older spayed female dogs to become incontinent but the good news is that there are medications available that can help. Your vet should be able to talk to you about the choices you have in medication. vetcare
