Question:

We adopted a two years old tabby cat two weeks ago and taking her to a vet for general checkup this Saturday. We thought it would be best for her to be in a pet carrier both traveling in car as well as in the vet's waiting area. The moment she saw the carrier, she ran away as fast as she can and hide. Apparently, she had bad experience with pet carrier. Please advise the best way to get our cat into the carrier without further traumatize her. Thanks!

Answer:

Place some cat food in the carrier. Leave the carrier out and open all week and try placing some cat toys in it as well. vetcare
