I use oatmeal shampoo on my pekeniese. She secretes this oil kinda stuff once a year and it really smells bad, even the day after I bath her she stinks. Could you tell me what causes that or if there is something I can do to help her. When that happens she chews herself and has bald spots and sores. my vet has no idea what causes it. Thank you
It is possible that your pet has a condition know as seborrhea which can cause the skin to have a greasy feel and look to it. This is only a quess. You may want to ask your vet for a referral to a dematologist to help you find out exactly what is going on. vetcare
