My mothers 12 year old cat has just been diagnosed with a kidney problem and diabetes. How likely is it that this can be managed sucessfully? He has not had health problems before. He is an inside cat.
Both diabetes and kidney disease are very serious. Your cats long term prognosis is poor. Alot really depends on the degree of kidney failure your cat is in. This sounds like a difficult case to manage, you may be spending alot of time at the vet. Sorry, vetcarerx vet team
