why are rawhide bones still on the market? my dog got one stuck in his intestine and there was no way to see it on xray because of it's texture. it was a costly ordeal to get it to pass through him. they turn to rubber after so long.
Because these types of thing happen infrequently. Dogs can swollow anything and I know dog owners would not be happy if all dog toys /chews were taken off the market b/c of this. It is importnat to watch what goes into your pets mouth ( just like a baby). vetcare
