I need to rid my cats of tapeworms. They weigh around 15-16lbs. will the droncit work and how many times should they be treated? Also, I have dogs, should they be treated too? If so, do you treat them by weight too? I have two around 60 lbs. and one around 145lbs. thank you
Tapeworms are transmitted by fleas so treat the fleas and the tapeworm at the same time. I recommend a visit to the vet and a stool sample for an accurate diagnosis of tapeworm. It is treated with droncit and 1 treatment is usually enough. The dose is by weight. vetcare
