My dog has heartworms. When I took him to the vet in Aug.2001, he was checked and I was told he had them but they had just started. The vet didn't have the medication to treat them and I was put on a waiting list. The vet still doesn't have the medication. What can I do and where can I find the medication?
Find another vet. I do not understand why the vet doesn't have the medicine, this is strange. Your pet should be treated for this life threatening dz ASAP. vetcare
