I have a 5 year old female cat (she is fixed)and about a month ago I brought home a new female kitten (she is now 3 months old. It took awhile to get them acclimated to each other, but now my older cat will hold down the kitten and lick her bottom. This happens all the time. Is it normal?
This is probably a maternal instinct and it will probably stop in time. vetcare
