My vet suggested I give my 17 year old cat an antibiotic 5 days a month for the rest of her life to treat gingivitis. She is otherwise in great health. Have you heard of this and what antibiotic would you use?
I have heard doing it 2-3 times a year but different vets do things differently. I would use either antirobe or clavamox drops. vetcare
