I have an 8 year old male mixed terrier and he has started to use the bathroom in the house and tear things up when we leave. I got a cage for him and was given some medicine for separation anxiety by the vet. Now he just uses the bathroom in his cage and shakes like crazy when we leave him in the mornings. The medicine the vet gave me did not help him calm down. He just developed these problems in the last six months. Any suggestions on a medicine that might make him sleep while we're gone during the day?
