Question:

We have a female miniature pincher. Before we have her fixed, we would like her to have one litter of puppies. How old should she be? How do we find the right male for her? How can I be sure she'll like him?

Answer:

I recommend that you mate her after her second heat or after 2 years of age. I do not know how she will respond to her litter. You have to call your local vet and ask if he/she knows of any males. You can also call the AKC. vetcare
