I have noticed that while playing with plush toys, our Toy Poodle puppy (3 mos. old) pulls some of the plush threads off of the toy with his teeth and swallows it. How dangerous is this -- should we take the plush toys away from him?

Answer:

Yes, this could cause a problem. If he swollows enough of the hair, it can casue an obstruction. Unlikely but possible. vetcare
