I just recently got a new boxer puppy who is 12 wks old. She wants to eat rocks and dirt all of the time and I was wondering if this means that she needs a vitamin or mineral supplement??? Thanks Linda
This is called Pica. I would not tollerate this behavior because rocks can cause intestinal obstructions. A multi-vitamin will not hurt but I doubt your pet is lacking anything ( this is very rare) vetcare
