Directions
Sentinel Flavor Tabs are to be administered once a month, together with a meal. Dosage is determined according to the weight of your pet; the packages are color-coded according to the dosage size.
Recommendations
Sentinel Flavor Tabs combats both fleas and internal parasites in your dog. It eliminates the parasites via the active ingredient Milbemycin oxime, most likely by interfering with neurotransmission. A second active ingredient, Lufenuron, inhibits the development of flea eggs into maturity.
Side Effects
In relatively few cases, pets exhibited adverse reactions to Sentinel Flavor Tabs in their digestion (vomiting, anorexia, diarrhea), their skin (pruritus, urticaria, congestion), or through neurological symptoms (depression, listlessness, ataxia, convulsions, and weakness). There can be more serious effects if Sentinel is administered to a dog with a preexisting heartworm infection; be sure that your pet is tested for heartworm disease before being given this medication.
