My dog's vaginal area doesn't protrude enough, so it traps moisture between her outer folds, which causes something like a diaper rash, and then sores. This stuff both heals it and dries it so it's not wet and irritating her. Not painful going on. But we also used it for a foot infection--it's great because of its healing properties together with its drying/moisture absorbing properties. August 17, 2009
