Rated 5 out of 5 Relief for me and my Akita My 75 pound 10 year old Akita wasn't extremely bad with the arthritis yet but it was breaking my heart to see the first signs of his difficulty sitting down and getting back up the past year. I wanted to start something now but everything I looked at needed so many pills for each 20 pounds several times a day. I couldn't afford it. With this product it is only 1 pill once a day. After reading the reviews I expected to see an improvement after about a month or so, but I noticed a significant difference the second week. Now I'm afraid he is going to start jumping our fence again! My dog wouldn't just eat the pill (but then he could find a tiny pill in the middle of a steak!) I just buy liverwurst and smash the pill and mix it into little meatballs for him. Now he drools for them. He nudges me every day after dinner for his medicine. :-) I have not seen any negative affects from this medication and I am extremely happy with the product. September 14, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 I have noticed that my aussie shep mix pound dog (that is estimated to be 9-10 years old) was slowing down. Have tried Arthramine for 2 months and it seems to be working great. You can buy cheaper pills, but look at the label and see how many times per day you have to give it to your dog. Best Pro: This is one tablet once a day. Con: Our dog never had great breath, but it seems even worst now. February 1, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 it works wonders for my 11 year 75 pound dog. We give her the pill in the morning and she can walk without a problem. Thank goodness for this product. May 4, 2008
Rated 5 out of 5 works great helped my 10 year old bassette hound to not be so stiff when getting up. September 20, 2007
Rated 5 out of 5 Worked Wonders on 3yr old lab w/hip dysplasia My yellow lab, Spike, was diagnosed at 6 months old with severe hip dysplasia in both hips. He was put on pain medication. Eventually I was able to take him off his pain meds and have been giving him arthramine every day since. He has a good appetite, and gets around really well. Arthramine is like a treat to him and he looks forward to getting his pills every day. Arthramine has done wonders for my dog's quality of life. October 4, 2005
Rated 4 out of 5 has helped my 13 yr old dog it took a while i was giving him 3 pills thru the day for about 2 weeks when i saw improvment i cut him to 2 pills a day he is 13 or 14 and had a lot of trouble with his hips he still can't keep up with my 2 yr old border collie but at least now when she plays with him she doesn't knock his back end out from under him and he can get back up when she does he also has a much happyer attatude and a much younger look in his eyes there is still room for improvement but i haven't even gotten thru the first 120 pill bottle hope the second bottle will help even more don't want to run out he is so much happyer now also he weighs 110 to 125 lbs so it will probably take a little more pills and time than it would for a younger and smaller dog i wish i had started him on this a few years ago*This is a prescription item June 27, 2005
