Who's St Jon Petrodex Cat Toothpaste For?
Dental care is just as important for your cat as it is for you. Dry food can help clean some of your cat's teeth, but it does not replace brushing at the gumline where most dental problems begin. Introducing your cat to brushing is not at all difficult.
St Jon Petrodex Cat Toothpaste Ingredients
Sorbitol, purified water, di-calcium phosphate, hydrated silicia, glycerine, barley malt syrup, dextrose, xanthan gum, potassium benzoate, glucose oxidase.

Directions:Begin by moistening the toothbrush bristles and then apply a small dab of Petrodex Toothpaste. Gently slide the brush into the mouth and rest the bristles on an upper tooth. Using a small, circular motion, gently brush just that tooth and adjoining gumline. Gradually increase the number of teeth brushed each day until your cat accepts this routine willingly. Don't forget to give a lot of praise and reassurance. For a complete preventive care program, be certain to consult your veterinarian.

Rated 5 out of 5 Malt Flavored??? When I saw the only cat toothpaste offered in the store I was in and that it was malt flavored, I almost didn't buy it. What cat likes malt? I thought what was going to be a battle to begin with was going to be even worse with malt flavor. Well, I couldn't have been more wrong! As it turned out, to my huge surprise, both of my cats absolutely loved it. One of my cats will sit up and beg like a dog, and he will beg when he sees the tube of his toothpaste. Even if your cat won't let you brush their teeth, I would think just having them lick the toothpaste and have it in their mouth is better than nothing. August 3, 2009

I was running out of the toothpaste and ran across your website. The toothpaste is an excellent price for the amount that you get.
