Notify your veterinarian of any additional medications your pet is taking, including antidepressants, and before giving any additional prescription, or non-prescription medications, including vitamins, minerals, and herbal supplements. Certain medications may reduce the efficacy of Soloxine. Sucralfate (Carafate), or aluminum antacids (Maalox, Mylanta), must be given 4 hours prior, or 4 hours after administering Soloxine, if necessary.

This brand is not carried on here, and also the dosage amount is not available either... looks like the active ingredient is the same though. If I get a different dosage and just give him more pills for each dose (I have a 160 pound rottweiler) it ends up being about $5 cheaper than my vet.. January 25, 2010
