About Zodiac Flea and Tick Collar for Puppies
Puppies get fleas like older dogs, but they need treatments made just for them. Zodiac Flea and Tick Collar for Puppies is specially sized and formulated for puppies. The protection against fleas and ticks continues up to 5 months and stays effective even if the collar gets wet. You can use it on puppies 12 weeks of age or older. Zodiac Flea and Tick Collar for puppies is convenient and easy to use.
Side Effects and WarningsDo not get dust or collar in mouth, harmful if swallowed. Do not get dust in eyes, will cause temporary pupillary constriction. The dust released by this collar is cholinesterase inhibitor.
Do not open protective pouch until ready to use. Do not allow children to handle this collar. Dust will form on this collar during storage. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling collar.
Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, medicated, pregnant, or nursing dogs. Do not use on puppies under 12 weeks of age. Do not use this product on dogs simultaneously or within 30 days before or after treatment with or exposure to cholinesterase inhibiting drugs, pesticides, or chemicals. However, flea and tick collars may be immediately replaced. When collar is first worn, observe neck area every few days for irritation. Remove collar at the first sign of irritation or adverse reaction. Sensitivities may occur after using any pesticide product for pets. If signs of sensitivity occur, remove collar and bathe your pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water.
If swallowed, call physician, veterinarian, or poison control center. Drink one or two glasses of water and induce vomiting by touching back of throat with finger. If person is unconscious, do not give anything by mouth and do not induce vomiting.
If in eyes, flush eyes with plenty of water. Get medical attention if irritation persists.
Note to physician/veterinarian: *atropine and *homatropine are antidotal only if symptoms of cholinesterase inhibition are present.
